PASS South Attracts One of Norths Hottest Drivers Cassius Clark Heading Back To Hickory for Over the Mountain 150 CONCORD, NC (August 18, 2006) When a racecar drivers wins more than half of the races hes entered in any particular series, its pretty easy to say that hes having a pretty good year. And when you are having a pretty good year, all you want to do is race and race some more. That is exactly what Maine-native Cassius Clark is doing. Clark has entered the PASS South Over the Mountain 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway on Sunday, August 27. It will be Clarks second PASS South event of the year. In April, he led laps at Hickory in the debut for PASS South, the Easter Bunny 150 (he finished 26th). Im really looking forward to heading back to Hickory, said Clark. I liked the track a lot. It was neat and one of those very historic short tracks. There were quite a few cars there last time so we had good competition. It is definitely a racers track and Im really looking forward to it. You come down there and you see the board that has all the past champions on it and it makes you realize how historic the track really is. That kind of stuff is so neat. It was a very fun race. It ended a little early for us, but we had a fun time none the less. Clark spent a lot of the Easter Bunny 150 in the top-five, but the PASS North regular fell out after a mechanical problem. Last time we had a little bit of bad luck. We had an axle break and that took us out of the race. We got that all taken care of this time. Clark is 10th in PASS North series points with four wins in seven series events. He came close to making it five wins by finishing third in the most recent PASS North event. Its been an eventful year to say the least, added Clark. Hopefully, we can go down there and do what Mike Rowe (the PASS South points leader and another PASS North regular) has been doing and show those Southern guys that the guys from up North know how to do it too. There is a practice session for all cars on Saturday, August 26th. Racing is set to get underway on Sunday, August 27th at 3pm with the Over the Mountain 150 scheduled to go green at 6pm.
