Encore in "La Belle Province"
for Glen Luce at Montmagny
Montmagny, Quebec, Canada-.. Glen Luce picked up where he left off in Quebec as the Pro All Star Series North returned to Quebec for the first time since September 2015 at the 4/10th mile oval of Autodrome Montmagny. Turner, Maine's Luce won 20 months ago the last PASS North race in "La belle province" at Autodrome Chaudiere

Since the "PASS Habitation Dany Lagace 150" in Montmagny  race was a "ROAD to the OXFORD 250" qualifying  event, the top three finishers each from Canada and the United States earned guaranteed starting spots for the Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway on August 27th.

Luce took the lead from Ben Rowe on a restart on lap 19 and kept the lead for 131 laps to the checkered flag to win $5,000.

Derek Ramstrom from Worcester, MA took 2nd place, and Ben Rowe from Turner, ME completed the podium, securing a starting spot for the Oxford 250.

Johnny Clark from Hallowell, ME finished in 4th place and Eddie McDonald from Rowley, MA rounded out the top 5.

Lonnie Sommerville in the BSM team's race car from New Brunswick finished 11th and will take advantage of the 250 spot. Martin Latulippe(14th) from Vallee-Jonction, Quebec and Donald Theetge (15th) from Boischatel, Quebec can also start planning their trip south of the border on the last weekend of August.

The Pro All Star Series North will be in Central Vermont next Sunday, May 28th for the 55th Memorial Day Classic presented by Mekkelsen RV on the fresh asphalt of Thunder Road Speedbowl in Barre, VT.

PASS returns to Canada on Saturday June 3rd at Speedway 660 in Geary, New Brunswick for another "Road to the Oxford 250 " qualifier.
