Miller Welders Add Spark
to
PASS Contingency Awards |
|
The “Power of Blue” joins PASS
as
Official Welder of the Pro All Stars
|
NAPLES ME (3/1) A top
quality welder is the key component in any race team's
garage and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and Miller
welders have joined forces to award racers in every PASS
touring division with some of Millers top quality
welders and welding accessories.
In New England,
both the 2011 PASS Mod and PASS Sportsman Champions will
be awarded a new Miller welder for their race shop. A
Miller welder will be awarded to the 2011 PASS South
Super Late Model Champion, and a package of welding
accessories valued at $500.00 will go home with the 2011
PASS South Rookie of the Year. The PASS National
Champion hasn't been overlooked either. That team will
also receive a Miller welder for their race shop.
But the list of awards doesn't end there. Miller
Welders has also agreed to sponsor a “Hard Luck” award
at THE RACE at Historic North Wilkesboro, the Saturday
April 9 PASS South mega race that will pay a minimum of
$75,000.00 to the winner. One race team's day will be a
little brighter when PASS officials and Miller
representatives collaborate to select him or her to
receive a Miller welder to help pick up the pieces from
a hard wreck or other mechanical disaster they may
suffer in the 300 lap feature.
Technical
representatives will attend selected PASS North and
South super late model events throughout the 2011
season, and PASS will work with Miller's regional
marketing representatives to offer exclusive product
specials for PASS race teams at every level.
“This is an exceptional program for PASS racers in every
division,” said series President Tom Mayberry.” Miller
welders are a fixture in every race shop, and I don't
know a single race team that wouldn't welcome a new one
in their shop or trailer. They are participating in our
2011 manufacturer's program in a big way, and I know I
speak for all of our competitors when I say welcome to
the PASS family of sponsors. We look forward to working
with Miller throughout 2011 and beyond.”
